AASL Post: A New Year’s Reset for Your Library Program

A New Year's Reset for Your Library Program | Reflect on the past year and make plans to reset and restart in the New Year.

(Note: I’m a bit behind on reposting these here, so please excuse the lateness)

January is a popular month for resolutions, detoxes, resets, etc. It’s the perfect time to reflect on the previous year, to look at what went right and what could have been better. Being that it’s also the middle of the school year, I think it’s also the perfect time to take a look at our library programs and reset. Here are some strategies to work through and questions to ask as you reflect.

In my January post on AASL Knowledge Quest, I share some things for us to reflect and reset on in the middle of the school year.  But no matter what month of the year, it’s always good to take some time, reflect and reset our priorities in our programs.

  • Making a list of things you want to try
  • Cutting down your list to three goals

I also share what my three goals are for Spring 2018.
