Want to work with me?
I would love to help you on your journey to reimagining your space, bringing out creativity in your students and more. I work full-time and can only take on so many commitments, but there are still ways I can help you. Check out some of the options below. And if none of those work for you, feel free to drop me a line and we’ll see how we can work together.
Options include:
- In-person speaking engagements (keynotes, workshops, sessions, etc)
- Virtual speaking engagements
- Twitter chats on my books
- Other options that we can work out together – drop me a line!

In-person Speaking Engagements
From conference keynotes to smaller, intimate workshops, I love traveling and speaking to educators in person. I will work with you and your organization to create a presentation or workshop that will meet your needs. Scroll down to see some of my standard presentations below. I usually only book one event a semester (potentially more in the summer), and preference is given to those events that minimize the number of days I need to be away from my school.
I’m currently booking for Summer/Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. Contact me for current rates and more info.

Virtual Presentations & Webinars
If an in-person speaking engagement doesn’t work for your budget or schedule (or if you’re working on a virtual conference), I can also do virtual presentations and webinars. Like the in-person speaking, this can be a standard presentation, something custom, or a Q & A. Afternoons and weekends are the best times for me, but I can sometimes be flexible.
Contact me for more info and availability.
Twitter Chats and Book Discussions
If your group is reading one of my two books, I’d be happy to host a Twitter chat or virtual book discussion on them. Contact me using the form at the bottom for more info.

What I Won’t Do
While I strive to be as open and available as possible, I am only one human, who works forty hours a week and tries to have somewhat of a life outside of work as well. So to save us both some time, here’s what I won’t do:
- Run an advertisement for something you’re selling on my blog
- Write or accept guest posts
- Endorse something for pay
Also, if you have a specific question, make sure you do a search on my blog, as it’s possible I might have already answered it somewhere.
What I Might Do
If you’re offering up a book or product to review and it’s something that I’m interested in, I’ll review it. But there’s not really any point in my reviewing it if it’s not the type of book or product I’m passionate about.

Want to work with me?
Send me an e-mail or fill out the contact form on the right and we’ll start working out the details.
P.S. If you’re contacting me with a question about something, make sure you check out my Start Here page and my resources pages (makerspaces, learning space design, grants and funding). And if you don’t find the answer there, do a quick search. I’ve written a lot, and your answer might already be here 😉
